Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-002583
A water treatment system installed at the main water line where it enters a home or building, designed to treat all water distributed throughout the property. These systems are used to mitigate risks from waterborne contaminants like bacteria, lead, volatile organic compounds, or excessive mineral content. Unlike point-of-use devices that treat water at a single tap, a point-of-entry system provides treated water to every faucet and appliance.
