Adoptive parent

An individual who has legally taken a child into their family to raise as their own, assuming all parental rights and responsibilities. This legal relationship is established through a court order, granting the adoptive parent the same legal standing as a biological parent. Adoptive parents provide care, support, and legal guardianship for the adopted child.
