Collaborative law

A legal process where parties and their specially trained attorneys commit to resolving disputes outside of court through negotiation and cooperation. If the collaborative process fails, the attorneys must withdraw, and the parties must retain new counsel for litigation. This method is often used in family law matters to foster respectful resolutions.
