A collection of existing literary, artistic, or factual works arranged in a way that constitutes an original work of authorship. The selection and arrangement of the pre-existing material must involve a minimal degree of creativity to be eligible for copyright protection. This protection extends only to the original elements of selection and arrangement, not to the underlying facts or works themselves.
