Concealment

The act of deliberately hiding or failing to disclose material facts that one has a duty to reveal, often with the intent to deceive or defraud. In insurance law, concealment of a material fact by an applicant can render a policy voidable. In criminal law, it can refer to hiding evidence or a person to obstruct justice.
