Cumulative voting

A system of voting for corporate directors or political representatives where each shareholder or voter can cast all their available votes for a single candidate, or distribute them among multiple candidates. This method allows minority shareholders or groups to have a greater chance of electing at least one representative to a board or body. It is often mandated by corporate bylaws or state statutes to protect minority interests.
