Default divorce

A divorce granted by a court when one spouse fails to respond to the divorce petition filed by the other spouse within the legally prescribed timeframe. In such cases, the court may proceed to grant the divorce and determine issues like property division and child custody based solely on the petitioning spouse's requests. This occurs without the non-responsive spouse's participation.
