Consent divorce

A divorce granted when both spouses agree to the terms of the dissolution of their marriage, including issues such as property division, child custody, and support. This type of divorce is often uncontested and can proceed more quickly and with less litigation than a contested divorce. Many jurisdictions offer simplified procedures for consent divorces.
