Employment discrimination

Unfair treatment of an individual in the workplace based on protected characteristics such as race, gender, religion, national origin, age, or disability. This conduct violates federal and state anti-discrimination laws. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission enforces many of these statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
