Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

A federal agency responsible for enforcing federal laws that prohibit discrimination against an applicant or employee based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigates complaints of discrimination, mediates disputes, and files lawsuits against employers when necessary. It also provides guidance and training to employers and employees.
