Encroach

To build a structure or extend an object that physically intrudes onto a neighboring property without the owner's permission. This unauthorized intrusion constitutes a form of trespass. Common examples include a fence built over the property line, an overhanging roof eave, or a driveway that extends onto the adjacent lot.
