Invitee

A person who enters another's land or premises at the express or implied invitation of the owner or occupier, typically for a purpose connected with the owner's business or for mutual benefit. The property owner owes the highest duty of care to an invitee, which includes inspecting the premises for dangers and warning of or remedying any known hazards. This duty is greater than that owed to licensees or trespassers.
