Premises

A specific piece of real property, including the land and any buildings or structures upon it, that is the subject of a legal document such as a deed, lease, or warrant. In premises liability law, it defines the area where a property owner owes a duty of care to visitors. The scope of the premises is described in the granting clause of a deed or the search area specified in a warrant.
