Net lease

A commercial lease agreement where the tenant is responsible for paying not only rent but also a portion or all of the property's operating expenses, such as property taxes, insurance, and maintenance. Different types of net leases, like single, double, or triple net leases, specify the extent of the tenant's financial obligations. This arrangement shifts more financial burden from the landlord to the tenant.
