Non-prosecution agreement

A formal agreement between a prosecutor and an individual or entity under investigation, where the prosecutor agrees not to pursue criminal charges in exchange for cooperation or other concessions. This agreement is distinct from a plea bargain, as no charges are filed. It is often used in corporate investigations to secure testimony or evidence.
