Price discrimination

The practice of selling the same product or service to different buyers at different prices without a corresponding difference in cost. This can be illegal under antitrust laws if it substantially lessens competition or tends to create a monopoly. The Robinson-Patman Act prohibits certain forms of price discrimination in interstate commerce.
