Residuary beneficiary

The person or entity designated in a will to receive the remainder of an estate after all specific bequests, debts, taxes, and administrative expenses have been paid. This individual or organization inherits the "residue" of the estate, which can include any assets not specifically distributed. The residuary beneficiary receives whatever is left over, regardless of its specific form.
