Retirement benefits

Payments or other advantages provided to an individual upon their cessation of employment, typically after reaching a certain age or years of service. These benefits can include pensions, 401(k) distributions, or Social Security payments. The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) governs many private sector retirement plans.
