Right to assemble

A fundamental liberty allowing individuals to gather peacefully in public or private places for expressive purposes, such as protest, worship, or discussion. This right is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Reasonable restrictions on the time, place, and manner of assembly are permissible, provided they are content-neutral.
