Trust merger

The consolidation of two or more trusts into a single trust, or the absorption of one trust into another, resulting in a unified entity. This process is undertaken to simplify administration, reduce costs, or achieve more efficient management of assets. The terms of the merged trusts are combined, and the beneficiaries' interests are preserved in the new structure.
