Typosquatting

The registration of domain names that are misspellings or slight variations of well-known brand names or trademarks. This practice aims to capitalize on user errors when typing website addresses, redirecting traffic to the cybersquatter's site. The Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA) provides legal recourse against such activities in the United States.
