Warehouseman's lien

A legal claim held by a warehouse operator over goods stored in their facility, serving as security for unpaid storage charges, handling fees, and other related expenses. This lien allows the warehouseman to retain possession of the goods until the outstanding charges are paid. Article 7 of the Uniform Commercial Code governs warehouseman's liens in most U.S. states.
