Wills: signature requirement

The legal mandate that a testator must sign their will, or direct another person to sign it on their behalf in their presence, for the document to be valid. This act signifies the testator's approval of the will's contents. Most jurisdictions also require the signature to be attested by a specified number of witnesses.
