Term · Law · MLC-T-LAW-003343

A type of will recognized in some civil law jurisdictions, where the testator delivers a sealed document containing their testamentary dispositions to a notary in the presence of witnesses. This method provides a degree of secrecy regarding the will's contents until after the testator's death.
