A single logistics provider that a company outsources to manage its entire supply chain, including the administration of other third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, and carriers. The lead logistics partner acts as a primary point of contact and accountability, overseeing all logistics activities from planning to execution. This model is also known as a fourth-party logistics (4PL) arrangement.
