Fourth-party Logistics (4PL)

A supply chain integrator that assembles and manages the resources, capabilities, and technology of its own organization with those of other logistics providers. A 4PL acts as a single point of contact for the client, overseeing the entire supply chain. This differs from a third-party logistics (3PL) provider, which typically manages specific logistics functions.
