Actinon
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003270
An obsolete name for the isotope Radon-219 (219Rn), a naturally occurring radioactive noble gas. It is a decay product in the actinium decay series, with a very short half-life of approximately 3.96 seconds. Due to its rapid decay, its atmospheric concentration is extremely low and its role in atmospheric processes is negligible compared to Radon-222.
