Thoron

A radioactive isotope of radon, specifically radon-220, which is a decay product of thorium-232. It is a naturally occurring noble gas that can emanate from soil and rocks, contributing to background radiation levels in the atmosphere. Thoron has a much shorter half-life (approximately 55 seconds) compared to radon-222.
