Amorphous frost

A type of frost characterized by its lack of crystalline structure, appearing as a granular or powdery deposit. It forms when supercooled water droplets freeze rapidly upon contact with a surface at or below freezing. This differs from hoar frost, which exhibits distinct ice crystals.
