Glazed frost

A deposit of clear, hard ice that forms on surfaces when supercooled water droplets or rain freeze upon contact. This type of frost is similar to glaze but can also refer to the freezing of fog droplets. It creates a smooth, transparent coating that can be extremely slippery and damaging.
