Bivane

A meteorological instrument designed to measure both horizontal and vertical components of wind direction. It consists of a wind vane that can pivot freely in both azimuth and elevation. Bivanes are often used in micrometeorological studies and for turbulence measurements, providing more detailed wind vector information than a standard wind vane.
