Cirrus intortus

A species of cirrus cloud characterized by irregularly tangled or twisted filaments, giving them a chaotic appearance. These clouds often indicate strong wind shear at high altitudes, where different layers of the atmosphere are moving at varying speeds or directions. Cirrus intortus is a type of high-level cloud composed entirely of ice crystals.
