Vertebratus

A cloud variety in which the elements are arranged like vertebrae, ribs or the bones of a fish, with a central spine and branches on each side. It occurs only with the genus cirrus, as cirrus vertebratus. Neighboring varieties of cirrus include intortus, radiatus and duplicatus.
