Coalescence efficiency
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004463
A measure of the probability that two colliding cloud droplets will actually merge to form a single, larger droplet. It is influenced by factors such as droplet size, surface tension, and electrical charges. A coalescence efficiency of less than one indicates that not all collisions result in merging.
