Contour line

A line on a map that connects points of equal value for a specific meteorological or geographical variable. In meteorology, these lines often represent constant pressure (isobars), constant temperature (isotherms), or constant height (isentrops). They are used to visualize spatial patterns and gradients of atmospheric properties.
