Dry air
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005154
Atmospheric air from which all water vapor has been removed, consisting primarily of nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and trace gases. In meteorological calculations, the properties of dry air are often used as a baseline for understanding the behavior of moist air. The average molecular weight of dry air is approximately 28.97 grams per mole.
