Dry climate

A climate characterized by very low annual precipitation and high rates of evaporation, resulting in a persistent water deficit. These regions typically experience sparse vegetation, large diurnal temperature ranges, and clear skies. According to the Köppen climate classification, dry climates include arid (desert) and semi-arid (steppe) types.
