Gram-mole

The amount of a substance that has a mass in grams numerically equal to its molecular weight. This unit is also known simply as a mole. In atmospheric chemistry, it is used to quantify the number of molecules of a particular gas, such as ozone or carbon dioxide, in a given volume or mass of air.
