Electric lines of force

Imaginary lines used to visualize the direction and strength of an electric field. These lines originate from positive charges and terminate on negative charges, with their density indicating the field's intensity. In atmospheric electricity, they illustrate the electric field generated by charged particles within clouds or between the cloud and the ground.
