Electronic thermometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005335
A device that measures temperature using electronic sensors, such as thermistors, thermocouples, or resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). These sensors convert temperature changes into electrical signals, which are then processed and displayed digitally. They offer faster response times and greater precision than traditional liquid-in-glass thermometers, making them suitable for automated weather stations.
