Exhaust trail

A visible plume of gases and particulate matter emitted from the exhaust of an aircraft engine, particularly at high altitudes. Under certain atmospheric conditions, the water vapor in the exhaust can condense and freeze, forming contrails. These trails can persist for varying durations, influencing atmospheric radiation budgets.
