Gravimetric hygrometry

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006035

A method for measuring atmospheric humidity by determining the mass of water vapor absorbed from a known volume of air. This technique involves passing air through a desiccant, such as phosphorus pentoxide, and measuring the increase in its mass. It is considered a highly accurate reference method for humidity measurement.
