Greenland ice sheet

A vast body of glacial ice covering approximately 80% of the surface of Greenland, making it the second-largest ice sheet in the world after the Antarctic ice sheet. It consists of compressed snow and ice that has accumulated over thousands of years. This ice sheet contains enough water to raise global sea levels by about 7.4 meters if it were to melt completely.
