Integration method

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006577

A numerical or analytical technique used to sum or accumulate quantities over a continuous range, often applied to solve differential equations that describe atmospheric processes. These methods approximate the area under a curve or the total change of a variable over time or space. Common numerical integration methods include the trapezoidal rule and Simpson's rule.
