Isoclinic line
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006694
A line on a map connecting points on the Earth's surface that have the same magnetic inclination or dip, which is the angle between the magnetic field vector and the horizontal plane. These lines are used to map the planet's magnetic field and are relevant to upper-atmosphere phenomena influenced by geomagnetism. The magnetic equator is a special isoclinic line where the inclination is zero degrees.
