A line on a weather chart connecting points of equal D-value. The D-value is the difference between the true altitude of a specific constant-pressure surface and its altitude in the International Standard Atmosphere. These lines highlight deviations from standard atmospheric conditions, with positive values indicating the pressure surface is higher than standard and negative values indicating it is lower.
