Krypton

A noble gas, element number 36, present in the Earth's atmosphere in trace amounts. It is colorless, odorless, and chemically inert. Krypton is sometimes used in specialized scientific instruments and as a tracer gas in atmospheric studies, though its atmospheric concentration is very low, around 1 part per million by volume.
