Lacunosus

A cloud species characterized by a ragged, perforated appearance, resembling a sieve or honeycomb. This feature is observed in cirrocumulus and altocumulus clouds, where small, rounded elements have distinct, irregular holes. The lacunosus characteristic indicates areas where cloud formation has been inhibited or dissipated locally.
