Labrador Sea Water

A dense, cold, and relatively fresh water mass formed in the Labrador Sea, primarily through deep convection during winter. This water mass sinks and spreads southward, contributing significantly to the deep limb of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation. Its formation is a key process in global ocean circulation and climate regulation.
