Maximum possible sunshine duration

The theoretical maximum amount of time the sun can shine at a given location on a specific day, assuming no obstructions from clouds or topography. This duration is determined by astronomical factors, primarily latitude and the time of year. It represents the upper limit for recorded sunshine hours and is used to calculate relative sunshine duration.
